Unfortunately, my expectations in terms of customer service were not met during this visit. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a manner that felt impersonal and rushed. It was evident that the staff was not very attentive or interested in addressing my concerns. Although I had a scheduled appointment, I was informed that the services I had booked may not be completed due to time constraints and that I would have to wait for several hours. This was disappointing, especially since I had made an appointment with the expectation that my needs would be prioritized. Additionally, I felt that my car’s issues were not taken seriously, and I left feeling dismissed. As a paying customer, I would have appreciated more care, attention, and consideration regarding the services I was requesting. I hope you will take this feedback into account and work on improving both the level of customer service and communication with your clients. I would like to give you another chance to make things right, but I do believe some adjustments are needed to ensure a better experience for your customers in the future.

Dear GMC Customer Service, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a malfunction with the backup camera on my 2024 GMC Sierra, VIN#: 3GTUUGE81RG241345. The issue is that the camera is only functional during the daytime and cannot be used at night, as the image is extremely faint and only shows a few inches behind the vehicle. This is not only frustrating but a significant safety concern. The problem began from the very first mile of driving the vehicle. Despite my efforts to address the issue with my local GM dealership, I have been provided with Document ID #4900679, which outlines potential causes such as snow, ice, dirt, heat, or too much light interfering with the camera. However, this explanation is not applicable in my case as the malfunction occurs in normal conditions, especially during nighttime driving. There are numerous reports online from other customers experiencing the same issue, further highlighting the scope of this malfunction. I am concerned that this safety defect could lead to accidents, causing either property damage or, more severely, personal injury. I am requesting that GMC thoroughly investigate this issue and provide a solution that ensures the backup camera functions safely under all conditions, including nighttime use. I always check my oil level at the dealership after the oil change and the level was just above center on the cross hatch which I was very pleased. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that the technician didn't provide the sticker on the windshield for my next appointment. Hopefully that was the only thing that he missed ..Thank You

I had an appointment for an oil change and it couldn’t have gone any better. I had the 1st appointment at 7:30. At 7:31 a service advisor opened the bay door, took my information and showed me to the waiting area which was excellent. They had free hot coffee and snacks and even a large screen tv to pass the time. The oil change was very quick at about 35 to 40 min and I had a few questions which he answered and explained what he did. Perfect experience!!!

Hi Justin, The problem concerning the: SERVICE - DRIVER ASSIST SYSTEM Concerns Front Radar Module - SENSOR Part #: 86771897 Brought my vehicle in last Tuesday, 03.18.2025 I thought they would be replacing what would be needed replacing. Picked up my vehicle today, 03.25.2025 paid $1,508.30 for a paint job, replacement of lower grill, part #: 84449968 and cover adaptive cruise part #: 8442987. Distance Sensor part # 86771897 installed by service, Mount Bracket part # 84417095 installed by service on Body Shop Billing it was not installed. When I drove off noticed that the screen read: SERVICE - DRIVE ASSIST SYSTEM. Being concerned brought vehicle to service much later on I was informed by Kevin Fonseca that the SENSOR part #: 86771897 had to be replaced cost: $688.80, LABOR: $400.00, Shop Supplies: $32.00 total $1,120.80 MA STATE TAX not included. Upsets me when my vehicle was in the body shop from 03.18.2025 to 03.25.2025 front end was off of my vehicle exposing the area where the SENSOR and Mount Bracket is located knowing that the SENSOR and MOUNT BRACKET had to be replaced paperwork on my bill states installed by Service for both but were not. Now I have to bring my vehicle into service for the SENSOR part #: 86771897 has to be installed now I have to pay $688.80 for the SENSOR, LABOR: $400.00, SHOP SUPPLIES: $32.00 total $1,120.80 plus TAX. This could have been done when I first brought my vehicle in on 03.18.2025 to the body shop now, I have to pay an extra $400.00 for Labor when I already paid Body Labor: $507.00, Refinish Labor: $331.50 being $838.50 now plus another Labor of $400.00 grand total $1238.50 in Labor. My vehicle was standing in the body shop parking area last Thursday and Friday front end completely off when it was known that the SENSOR and MOUNT BRACKET had to be replaced could have been done then. That was poor service my vehicle should have been brought to service for the SENSOR to be installed seeing that the front end was off of course could have been a reason a Money/Labor charge reason hope that was not the case, but it points to that. Of course, being a Police Officer approximately 39 years, 20 being a Detective in Organized Crime I do tend to be suspicious. Now I have to come in to have the work completed shame on Alden, Shame that I have to pay an extra $400 for Labor when there was no need of it when it could have been done a week before. I should have just brought my vehicle to a local body shop for my repairs I have learned an expensive lesson. Also had I ordered the Distance Sensor online GM 86771897 SENSOR ASM-FWD RANGE RADAR - $453.05 MSRP: $683.47 - $235.75 savings. Incidentally I have to say Anna, Justin, Kevin, Rui, and Damian I have nothing bad to say about them just that I am hurt and upset I was without a vehicle for a week, and I have to return in hopes I am taken care off and upset that I have to pay an extra $400.00 for LABOR when there was no need of it had the situation been taken care of in the first place. I have always been pleased with Justin who sold me my car when I have a question to ask, Justin is right there a good excellent salesman has the knowledge, Rui who I have known for years when he was with Chrysler an excellent Service Consultant. Justin did advise me this morning after I picked up my vehicle and I noticed my problem I saw Justin he advised that I go to service. I am looking to purchase a vehicle as I want 2 vehicles always had two and three vehicles, I have no desire in purchasing another vehicle from Alden this is not my first vehicle that I have purchased from Alden, even purchased from Duggan Buick-GMC dealership never had a problem. When I and my late wife had purchased a vehicle always paid cash for our vehicles this vehicle, I also paid cash for it the next vehicle I purchase which will be shortly will be cash. The service at Alden is the best and always the same. The only thing I wish they would like many other dealerships do is wash the vehicle once the service is done. It's a small thing to do but when I get my other vehicles back from other dealers the car and truck always come back washed.

Just curious why there is a 160$ charge for a diagnostic reading?? Also, why there needs to be an appointment made? Fortunately I did not need to pay for the diagnostic fee or repair. However, I was without my vehicle for 3 days. Monday 0830 HRS was my appointment time, approximately an hour to an hour and a half later I was told the car would have to be kept till late the next afternoon. I received a call LATE Tuesday only to be told, the vehicle that was being put on hold, so the tech could finish another one that the parts had been in order for, AND they hadn't been excepting them in so soon. So now my vehicle would be ready the next afternoon. LATE afternoon again. Wednesday I received a call at 1614 HRS from Karen stating the vehicle was finished. I could call the next day for a ride in. I'm also wondering just how many techs you have there? Was there absolutely no one else that could have been put in place to finish my repair? Yes I was offered a loaner vehicle and I did decline. However I also didn't think it would take until 1600 HRS the following afternoon to get the call saying "Your cars ready for you."

I don't usually take my car to the dealership for oil changes, because it's just too expensive. However, I figured since I had recently purchased the car and we were headed out to Pennsylvania in less than a week, AND the dealership had called, saying the car had "CALLED" them. I figured why not. (Technology, love it or hate it!) No matter where I've gone for an oil change it's never taken longer than 30 - 45 minutes. I was there more than an hour and a half! First was the miscommunication in my appointment time. I arrived at approximately 1345 HRS, apologized for being early, only to be told I was late. My appointment was for 1330 HRS! AAAAHHHH NO, for personal reasons I never EVER make appointment at 1330 HRS! I had scheduled for 1430 HRS purposely. Appointment time aside, after a while I'm approached with, "Everything looks great, only thing the tech found is that you'll need a new air filter. That's all he has left, if you'd like it done it would bring your price to 86." He didn't say dollars, cents, bitcoin, gold etc.. Sure I say.. like I said we were going on the road in about week, the filter wasn't overly disgusting, but nonetheless. ((I should mention there was another young lady that got there at the same time I did, she was also having an oil change done to her car.)) So I wait, half hour later the car is still in the air, hanging out NO ONE IN SIGHT!! I go inside, there's no one at the desk to ask for assistance. "Where did everybody go?" The lady that had come in with me said her car wasn't done yet either.. and she was late getting to her next appointment, she's a CNA and her client was calling her repeatedly getting upset. I look out the back of the garage area and there are 3 techs headed back in from outside, 2 of whom had been working on our cars. One of the folks that worked the front desk popped back in. I asked when the car would be finished because only the air filter had to be put in and it had been over 15 minutes and the vehicle was still in the air. As he goes out to check.. the tech starts to take off the tires to rotate them. [OH MIGRATION!] Do you mean to tell me everyone went out on break and they didn't finish the job they had started? The gentleman said he had asked for help from outback to assist with getting the vehicle finished up so we could get on the road. I watched as the tires were rotated, the air filter and oil filter changed, then filled with oil. There over an hour for WHAT? It doesn't take that long for the oil to drain. Then everything was all buttoned up in less than 10 minutes. When cashing out, apparently I wasn't listening closely when I was given the price earlier because it ended up being 186$. That's why I never ever ever go to the dealership for an oil change. That was my first and last with this vehicle. So Alden, the next time my car calls to say it needs an oil change.. just hang up.

The service there is always lacking Customer Service. It is simple a vehicle service department. If you want rudeness in your life, just go there. Also, for the manufacturer, the back up Camera on the 2024 1500 Deisel Denali only works during the day and no one has a fix for this? I was greeted by Karen when I brought my vehicle in who was extremely nice She had me pull my vehicle into the garage where she did a walk around with me. We went i Over my concerns and she let me know that my appointment may take a little longer as I was scheduled for an oil change. She then showed me to the customer waiting area and showed me where to get coffee or tea. When my vehicle was finished the Service Mgr Andy came out to let me know what work was done and that Karen was finishing up my paperwork. He then pulled my vehicle up to the door. I purchased my vehicle from Robertson's GMC in Wareham and have had my vehicles serviced there for 5 years. I recently found out that the Service Mgr and technicians had all left and went to Alden's GMC. I trust each and every one of them with my vehicles 100%. I've dealt with John, Tom, Adam and Colton before and wherever they are is where I am going for service. They followed their leader Andy who is an amazing Service Mgr. No one leaves dissatisfied. They definitely made a great decision to add Andy and his team to the their amazing staff. Alden is my new dealership and I will spread the word to family and friends.

Went in for service. As two issues (transmission flush and oil cooler) were handled, another popped up immediately. Which is strange because I didn't have any alerts or problems with that part of my vehicle driving in. I was told it was unrelated.

I noticed several issues with the heat (sporadic) and radiator fan on my Canyon, Alden diagnosed the issue very quickly and had it fixed within 6 hours so worked out very well. Great job.

I called in the AM as my car was telling me to service rear axle and all wheel drive. I spoke with Andy who told me to bring it in and they would take a look. I went in same AM and Karen took me right in, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The driver took me home so I did not have to wait and it was ready by the afternoon. Service was great and I was very appreciative!

Andy, Karen and crew went above and beyond when my torque converter recently failed. Issue happened on Sunday, truck went in on Monday and I had it back by Wednesday. I had an extended warranty and they took care of all of the paperwork etc for me. They also checked my brakes and found thst I needed new fronts. They replaced those while the truck was there as well. I will be returning for any service work and when my wife needs a new car in the spring.
